Automation Engineer - Manufacturing

Your Impact

In this role, you’ll lead diverse and complex automation projects, from defining requirements to full production implementation. As a key contributor, you will design, develop, and optimize hardware and software solutions, ensuring the seamless functionality of advanced manufacturing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be the Automation Expert: Provide critical design insights and develop user requirements for automation systems.
• Lead Projects: Oversee supplier selection, manage relationships, and coordinate design reviews, testing, and installation for successful project execution.
• Ensure Reliability: Develop strategies for machine reliability, addressing spare part needs and mitigating component obsolescence.
• Streamline Processes: Create and implement clear, efficient procedures and process controls to meet exacting design specifications.
• Drive Quality: Implement SPC and data collection systems for precision and performance monitoring.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Physical Sciences (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in related roles
• Proven project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects.
• Proficiency in PLC code/logic development and technical documentation.
• Strong communication, mentorship, and problem-solving capabilities.
